Help CWSA to Help those in need during the Lock Down and beyond
The national lockdown by the South African government was unprecedented, but it was necessary for the wellbeing of all in our society due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The families that Child Welfare South Africa (CWSA) serves have been immensely impacted by the lockdown and the increasing effects of the pandemic. As the lockdown impacts on the livelihood of the households, we have stepped in with our members and the community members to support the families in need. However, the needs are enormous and challenging, and we cannot do it alone. We wish to continue supporting these families for the next three months by providing social relief packs.
As has been proven, health and social care workers continue to become vulnerable to epidemic infections due to constant exposure. CWSA has over 2000 Social Workers in its network who continue to provide support to communities in need, however, some of the personnel do not have adequate protective gear. We care for the well-being of our personnel so that they can continue to support families.
We need your support to continue to provide social relief packs to families that include food parcels, blankets and clothing and support to provide protective materials for Care Workers that include face masks, hand gloves, sanitizers and disinfecting/cleaning materials.
We call on you to join us in this cause to raise funds by donating. Help CWSA fight against COVID-19.
